The Best DEXTools Alternatives in 2026: Free Charts, No Ads, Built-in Trading

Six DEXTools alternatives for 2026 compared on charts, chain coverage, ads and paid tiers, trading, wallet tracking and mobile apps, with a verdict for each type of trader.

Published October 20, 2026·5 min read

DEXTools is one of the original DEX charting sites, and it still has one of the longest chain lists around. Its free tier shows ads, and the paid tiers are unlocked by holding its token: as of October 2026 the ad-free Standard plan requires holding 1,000 DEXT, and Premium requires holding 100,000 DEXT. If you are looking for a DEXTools alternative, it is usually for one of three reasons: you want the ads gone without buying a token, you want trading built in, or you want a mobile app that does more than show a chart.

Here are the alternatives traders actually switch to, checked in October 2026.

"Not found" means we found no such feature in its docs, site or app store listings in October 2026.

1. Defined

Defined is a real-time charting and data site that became a trading terminal. Charts, token pages, holder lists, trending, filters, launchpad stats, wallet tracking, watchlists and alerts are free, with no ads and no paid trending placements. Market data covers 70+ blockchains and 50M+ tokens.

Trading is built in from one account and one USDC balance: spot on Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood with market, limit, stop and recurring orders at 0.50% per trade (minimum $0.25); Hyperliquid perpetuals at 0.05% on top of Hyperliquid's fees; Polymarket prediction markets at 0.50% per trade; and sports markets next to live games. Boards let you build your own layout of panels, multicharts shows many live charts at once, and the iOS and Android apps plus the @defined_bot Telegram bot carry it to your phone.

Best for: traders who want DEXTools-style charts without ads or a token to hold, and trading on the same screen.

2. DEX Screener

DEX Screener is the most used DEX charting site and the closest like-for-like replacement for DEXTools' free tier. The chain list is very long and there are iOS and Android apps. It sells ad placements, and projects can buy Boosts that raise a token's Trending Score for 12 to 24 hours, so the trending list is partly paid. Third-party guides describe its trading as swaps through a connected wallet.

Best for: a quick chart on an obscure chain. Read the full Defined vs DEX Screener comparison.

3. GeckoTerminal

GeckoTerminal is CoinGecko's DEX charting product. It is free, covers a wide set of networks, and ties into CoinGecko's token metadata. It has a basic swap through a connected wallet, and CoinGecko launched dedicated iOS and Android apps for it in 2025.

Best for: research that starts from CoinGecko.

4. Birdeye

Birdeye grew up on Solana and has expanded to Sui and EVM chains. It has rich token analytics, a paid PRO tier and an API business. Swaps run through Jupiter with a 0.6% Birdeye processing fee, per its docs.

Best for: Solana analytics with an API behind it.

5. GMGN

GMGN is a trading terminal rather than a charting site, built around smart-money wallet tracking and copy trading on Solana and EVM chains. There is no subscription; its docs state a 1% fee per transaction. It runs a web terminal and Telegram bots.

Best for: copy trading smart-money wallets. See Defined vs GMGN.

6. Photon

Photon is a Solana-first trading terminal known for speed on new launches and its Memescope feed. It charges 1% per trade (0.9% with a referral) and is a web terminal. If you came to DEXTools for charts rather than to trade Solana launches, it is a sideways move.

Best for: Solana launch trading. See Defined vs Photon.

Verdict

If the ads and the DEXT requirement are what you want to leave behind, DEX Screener and Defined are the two free, full-coverage replacements. DEX Screener has the longer chain list; Defined has no ads and no paid trending, and adds trading with limit, stop and recurring orders, perps, prediction markets and native mobile apps. If you mainly trade Solana launches, Photon and GMGN are terminals built for that, at 1% per trade.
