The Best Hyperliquid Frontends and Mobile Apps in 2026
Hyperliquid trading frontends and mobile apps compared for 2026: the native interface, Defined, Dexari, BasedApp, Insilico Terminal and Axiom, with builder fees, platforms and what each adds.
4 min read
Hyperliquid's perpetuals run on one onchain order book, and its builder codes let any frontend route orders to it while adding a small fee of its own. The result is that a large share of Hyperliquid volume now goes through third-party terminals and mobile apps rather than the native interface. They all trade the same book; what differs is the fee, the platform, and what sits around the order form.
This guide compares the frontends traders use in 2026, checked in October 2026. Each builder fee links to its source under Sources.
At a glance
| Frontend | Platforms | Builder fee | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hyperliquid (native) | Web; Android app for fill notifications only | None | The reference interface, every market and order type |
| Defined | Web, iOS, Android | 0.05% | Perps next to spot tokens, Polymarket and sports; one portfolio and USDC balance; TradingView charts |
| Dexari | iOS, Android | Reported 0.10% at its entry tier, lower with volume | A mobile-first perps app |
| BasedApp | iOS, Android | Reported 0.025% | A self-custodial wallet with perps, spot and a card |
| Insilico Terminal | Desktop web | 0.01% | Professional order tooling and hotkeys |
| Axiom | Web | 0.01% | Perps inside a Solana spot terminal |
All builder fees are on top of Hyperliquid's own trading fees. Hyperliquid caps what a frontend may add at 0.1% on perpetuals and 1% on spot.
1. Hyperliquid (native)
The reference. Every market, every order type, and no builder fee. Its Android app, released as a test version in April 2026, sends notifications when trades fill but does not trade, and we found no iOS app. If you only trade perps and never want anything else on screen, start here.
Best for: pure perps trading at the base fee.
2. Defined
Defined routes perpetuals to Hyperliquid with a 0.05% builder fee on top of Hyperliquid's own fees, and puts them next to everything else you trade: spot tokens on Solana and EVM chains, Polymarket prediction markets and sports, from one account and one USDC balance. Charts are TradingView charts with your entry, take profit, stop loss and limit orders drawn on them, and you can place or move them from the chart. Positions across perps, tokens and predictions show in one portfolio, watchlists cover perps, and the iOS and Android apps carry all of it.
Best for: traders who want Hyperliquid perps in the same terminal and portfolio as their spot and prediction trades, on web and phone.
3. Dexari
Dexari is a mobile-first perps app built on Hyperliquid, with a phone-shaped interface rather than a shrunken desktop. Reviews put its builder fee at 0.10% at the entry tier, the maximum Hyperliquid allows, falling as your 30-day volume rises.
Best for: mobile-only perps traders.
4. BasedApp
BasedApp is a self-custodial mobile wallet that builds Hyperliquid perps and spot into the wallet, with a spending card attached, so holding, trading and spending happen in one app. One review puts its builder fee at 0.025%.
Best for: traders who want perps inside a wallet rather than a terminal.
5. Insilico Terminal
Insilico Terminal is a free professional desktop interface over Hyperliquid, with advanced order tooling, hotkeys and the density that scalpers want. It charges a 0.01% builder fee, per its own announcement. It is not a mobile app.
Best for: desktop scalpers and professional order flow.
6. Axiom
Axiom added Hyperliquid perps, at a 0.01% fee per transaction, to its Solana spot terminal, which is useful if you already trade launches there and want to hedge or trade perps without leaving the tab. It is a web terminal.
Best for: Axiom users who want a perps tab. See Defined vs Axiom.
How to choose
If you want the lowest possible fee and only trade perps, use the native interface, or Insilico for a pro desktop layout at 0.01%. If you want perps next to spot tokens and prediction markets with one portfolio, charts you can trade from, and real iOS and Android apps, Defined. If you want a perps-only phone app, Dexari or BasedApp. If you want a dense desktop terminal, Insilico.

FAQ
What is a Hyperliquid builder code?
A way for a frontend to route orders to Hyperliquid's order book and collect a small fee per trade, capped at 0.1% on perpetuals and 1% on spot. You keep custody; the frontend adds its fee on top of Hyperliquid's own.
What does Defined charge on Hyperliquid perps?
0.05% on top of Hyperliquid's own trading fees. There is no subscription.
Can I trade Hyperliquid perps on my phone?
Yes. Defined, Dexari and BasedApp all trade Hyperliquid perps on iOS and Android. Hyperliquid's own Android app sends fill notifications but does not trade.
Do all these frontends trade the same markets?
They all route to Hyperliquid's order book, so the markets and liquidity are the same. The difference is fee, platform and what else the app does.
Can I see perps and spot positions in one place?
On Defined, yes: perps, spot tokens and prediction market positions share one portfolio and one USDC balance.
